6 Tips to Make the Most of ASLA 2024

  1. Always have the map on hand: ASLA's interactive floorplan will be your navigation salvation and ensure you never get lost.

  2. Dress for comfort: You’ll be on your feet a lot, so make sure to wear sensible shoes. It’s also a good idea to dress in layers so you’ll be comfortable, no matter the temperature in the convention center.

  3. Bring a bag: You’re going to need somewhere to stash all your new swag! Stop by our booth to pick up your CADdetails seed packets and tote bags.

  4. Speak to the speakers: Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself, ask your questions, and make connections with the speakers who most interest you. They’ll be delighted to discuss their knowledge with conference-goers just like you.

  5. Take a break: Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat, drink plenty of water, and use the restroom. Pack a reusable water bottle and take advantage of the refill stations throughout the convention center. Grab a snack and take a moment to relax in the reCHARGE Lounge.

  6. Be present on social media: Follow the conference’s official hashtag (#ASLA2024) to stay up to date with the events’ goings-on and connect with other conference goers. Take pictures with the people you meet and upload them to the platform of your choice!
